A Video exercise features a short video (typically 3-4 minutes long) in which an instructor talks over a slide deck. The slides are created in DataCamp's Teach Editor to ensure a consistent look and feel, and the videos are turned into audio-only screencasts once the slides, their associated scripts, and the course's exercises are complete.

Guidelines

  • Video scripts between 300 to 400 words are best.

  • There is an upper limit of 550 words.

Most people speak at around 100 to 120 words per minute. These guidelines ensure videos remain shorter than 5 minutes. For more detailed information on how to create clean and effective Video exercises click on the following links.
