After the project instructor has implemented all of the feedback from their DataCamp representative and therefore completed the first draft of their project, as described in the project creation process, DataCamp sends their project out to actual DataCamp students for beta testing. The selected beta testers are students that have recently completed the project's prerequisites.

In this beta testing phase, the instructor receives feedback on their project both at a high-level and at the task-level. A copy of the feedback form that beta testers fill out is available here.

Once at least a handful of students have responded and all relevant feedback is implemented by the instructor (this process usually takes a week or two), the project launches. This means that the project, which was previously not searchable on DataCamp, appears on the datacamp.com/projects page. The instructor then receives their prepayment with the help of DataCamp's accounting team.
